I love these deli containers, but you must make sure that when you go to vacuum seal the lid must be completely closed.

I purchased these to get rid of my rapidly spoiling cheese. Works great. A bit difficult to seal and that could be becuse I have a lower model Foodsaver. Takes a bit of practice to get the hang of it. In all, wonderful product. Because of the re-sealing, it keeps snackers away from taking a slice and putting the container back.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Save your money and purchase a different product

I was excited to use these, as it wouldn't crush the food. The slim size I thought would be ideal. The product is recommended for cooked food, however the height prevents most meats, and food that we would take to work or school to actually fit in. I have attempted 12 times now to remove the air, using a poorly designed adapter, ( yeah another small part to lose in the kitchen) and have been successful TWICE. The idea is wonderful, the product is terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Aggravating as heck!

Purchased 8 to make diet salads for the week. Spent the weekend trying to get them to seal. No luck. I should have read the reviews. You would think they would put better instructions on the site or booklet rather than make us call them during the work week. Not happy at all.

Buy extra grey sealer tabs

I prefer the newer clear canisters for visibility and endurance but these work and are a good price. The grey sealer tabs wear out too soon but they now sell replacement tabs so be sure to buy some they will be useable for years.

Nice size

Ordered two sets. Each container holds a serving for two people. It is very easy to seal them. I have used them to freeze leftovers. They stack nicely in the freezer or refrigerator. I've just ordered two more sets.

I saw these when ordering replacement gaskets for my Food Saver and thought they looked functional and affordable. I have used them for everything already from cookies to keeping leftovers. I love how quick and easy they seal, not to mention they stack so easily in the fridge. I often buy spiral sliced hams and package up 90% in the Food Saver freezer bags. Now when I thaw out a package of sliced ham (which is ten times better than any deli ham and 5 times cheaper) I put it in the deli container and it stays fresh for as long as I need it to. Before I often would have dried out meat which I threw out when stored in typical plastic contains, but no more! I'll be ordering more of these the next time I order more plastic rolls for bags.

Easy to stack

I love these small containers! Mainly because they stack and I can use the handheld vacuum. When the lid fits right, they are easy to seal. One of mine doesn't snap down very well, too loose.
The problem I have is it is too short, I wish it was taller. Also the handheld vacuum doesn't hold it's charge. If I'm lucky, I can seal two containers.

I received 3 of these containers with my second food saver.
Suggestion: make it taller and be sure it snaps on right.
