Hard to seal

I bought these for lunch meat and cheeses. After I get them sealed, they work great. However, trying to get them sealed is not easy. It always takes me 3-4 tries before they seal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What I would relly like to see is a container about half this size in length, for small portions.

small but good container

I use these for shredded cheese and they keep the cheese fresh for weeks on end. I find they seal extremely well with my food saver machine and stay that way until I release the seal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought two sets of these and got them just in time for our two week vacation. They worked as well as i expected them to! I am slowly collecting various size containers and they do stack up well. I am very pleased with my collection.

I purchased these a few weeks ago and I absolutely love them. I use them for fresh tomato slices, lunch meat, sliced deli cheese, and even leftovers. All I do is fill them up and seal and place in the fridge. Handy hint: When I use them for deli meat or sliced tomatoes I place a paper towel over the top before sealing. Keeps the meat drier and the tomatoes don't get slimy. Glad I purchased these. Everyone should use them, they are GREAT!

Bought the 2 pack. Still evaluating. Put lunch eat in three of them and each time I take some meat out and need to completely dry them out before trying to reseal.

The lunch meat or cheese should not be touching the vacuum sealing bottom of the lid. You may want to move your food ingredients to ensure there is ample space between the food and lid. Great size for lunch meat and sliced cheese. Easy to open. Only thing not intuitive is how to seal since not a forced fit like other containers, but as long as hold the vacuum accessory adapter centered over the grey flap until it pulls a vacuum it does great. Do have to check the "dimple" appears, and if it doesn't on its own, a light touch may make it appear. Other than those few little gotchas, these are great and easy to use!

I like the new containers

I had 6 of these deli containers and they were always hard to get the lid on before sealing, and sometimes the seal did not last. These 6 went to goodwill and I invested in the new style containers with the dimple to show it is sealed and these are much better and have given me no issues. I have had several foodsaver items that did not work so well, but it is just a growing pain for any company in my opinion. Overall I think foodsaver makes pretty good stuff and will continue to use their products.
