[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not as fond of the Deli Containers as I am of FreshSaver's other food containers. I can't seem to get the suction quite right, so I have no idea when all the air has been sucked out of them. I think I'll stick to resealable bags for lunch meats and cheeses.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

sealing power

I have had these containers for almost two years and love them -- now. Sealing them at first was a bit confusing to me (I have the saver and handheld). The trick for me was to make sure the rubber seal was straight and to make sure to hold the sealer straight up over the seal. If you do not hear a change in the suctioning in 10 or so seconds it is no aligned. After I figured that out I have not had a problem. I do have to hold the attachment down more firmly that I thought, but I have not had any other problems. My husband even accidently stuck it in the dishwasher and it did not affect the sealing power.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quick and easy

Easy to use, keep deli meat fresh longer. But this container doesn't have a button to indicate it is sealed, and it doesn't have a release button.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for your feedback, in order to know the deli containers are completely sealed, the dimple on top of the container should push in.

Needs Improvement

I bought these so that I could meal prep on the weekends for my family to have lunches ready for school/work all week. They mostly work well, although you have to know which kinds of foods do and don't work well in it (anything tomato based, like spaghetti sauce or chili will stain; any kind of seafood will absorb the odor). I wish they were more rectangular, as pictured, but the ones I got were more oval (egg-shaped rather than box-shaped), which wastes a lot of space in the lunchboxes as well as the fridge. Also, the lids pop off pretty easily if you don't seal them...I know this, because the rubber seals get less and less effective with every use, so they're pretty much just being used as regular tupperware in our household at this point. They're durable, and we haven't had any issues yet with them cracking or breaking; although, putting them in the microwave has deformed the plastic on the inside of a few containers.
Bottom line: they were initially a great help in meal prepping, but the design and quality need improvement to be a real/lasting asset.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I will admit at first I couldn’t figure how to seal these little containers . I had misplaced the instructions and just couldn’t get them to seal . Duh ! Found the paper and viola’ . Now I use them for all small things that I use daily .

Not For the Little Towers

Be aware: when it says this works with all Food Saver vacuum sealing systems, I have learned now that I have ordered some, this does NOT include the Food Saver towers ("The FoodSaver® Fresh Food Preservation System"). I checked and they don't have an adapter to use for these. There is a hand-held sealer that is fairly inexpensive that can be used with them, so (rather than sending them back) I'm keeping these and ordered the hand-held sealer. More money! I wish the item description was clearer that it won't work with the little towers.
