I love the Sonicare toothbrush. The only issue I have had is I sometimes change the setting from clean to refresh etc... while brushing. Otherwise everything is going well and I have received excellent ratings from my dentist.

This is my second Sonicare toothbrush. It's much easier to keep clean than the first, and it does an excellent job of cleaning my teeth (according to my dental hygienist).

Greate brushing performance, annoying features

I love the brushing action and it's lightweight and easy to handle. It's very easy to clean, too. The included sanitizer is very convenient and easy to use. What I don't like is the timer that shuts off the toothbrush after 2 minutes. I'm not aware of any way to disable that feature. I brush my teeth in 2 parts (upper, then lower),and shut off between parts to rinse and add another dab of toothbrush. Unfortunately, the timer does not reset if you turn the brush off for a short time, so it winds up shutting off in the middle of my brushing, and I have to fiddle around to get my finger on on/off button. In doing so, I wind up hitting the wrong button or pressing the on/off button too long which enables one the many other modes I don't want enabled.
Pros: great brushing experience
Cons: feature overkill

I have quite an investment in my mouth. I want to protect my teeth and my investment. My teeth feel great when I use the Sonicare. Everyone in my house uses one. We like the built in timer. It is too easy to brush in rushing mode with our busy schedules..with the timer we know we are brushing long enough. Our favorite feature, though is the UV brush head sanitizer. I have piece of mind that my family has clean tooth brushes, an extra concern especially during flu season! But even without these features, I know my kids brushing is much more effective with the sonicare because it has the power to destroy bacteria even in places they sometimes miss with the bristles because of the patented technology.
Pros: sonic action built in timer uv sanitizer
