This product have 5 different functions for me to choose, and also includes a sanitier which is great. The travel case is useful. The only thing is we need to change the brush head quick often. If in the future there is more durable brush head that will be great as we've already have the sanitier that we can use the brush head longer.

I've had some discomfort in my mouth since I started to use it. I moved down to the sesitive mode and still experiencing some discomfort so returning to manual brushing for awhile with a sesitive toothpaste to see if that helps. I'm not sure, which brush included with the unit, is the best or if it's a customer preference thing.
Pros: teeth feel very clean
Cons: experiencing some discomfort in mouth

Still does the best job to really clean teeth. Dental hygienist can really tell the difference. Much improved charging interface over the former top model. Very clever glass cup to catch any moisture. Also, because cup is separate from metal charging base, can easily use dishwasher cleaning. Also, when traveling, the case itself can recharge (although only multi-week trips would seem to require a charge.) Also has a clever mode (that can be disabled) to gradually increase intensity (over many brushings) for those new to these types of toothbrushes. Only four stars because of the change to only one button. Now, when I finish brushing and want to run the brush for a few seconds to shake water from the bristles before storage, I have to click the switch about six times to cycle through all the modes. Former model had two buttons, with a simple on/off-only power switch. (Though, I have discovered if I wait long enough, it knows I want to turn it off with one push instead of change modes.)
Pros: cleaning power, glass cup
Cons: complexity of off switch

Best Toothbrush I've Ever Used!

This brush was recommended by our periodontist.
After using it for a brief period of time, I found that my teeth felt much cleaner than when I was using another brand of electric toothbrush. I especially like the sensitive setting and the gum massage setting. My teeth look and feel much cleaner now.
The dental hygienist also found that I had less plaque than when I
was using another kind of brush.

Keeps my dentist happy!

I've been using Sonicare for a good ten years now. It not only keeps my teeth clean, it also keeps my gums healthy. I'm in my late 60s, and gum disease is a definite concern. My dentist was very impressed with the excellent state of my gums as well as my (happily cavity-free) teeth. In fact, the dentist wasn't surprised that I use Sonicare since he and his wife, who is his dental assistant, use Sonicare themselves.
The variety of brushing styles and times (one- to three-minute times) and the gum massage feature make this, in my opinion, the best toothbrush on the market.
Because I love the Sonicare and the excellent results I've had with my teeth and gums, I gave it five stars. HOWEVER, the UV brush head sanitizer no longer works, and that was the reason I purchased this particular model. I suggest you save the extra money and get this model but without the UV feature.
Pros: keeps teeth and gums healthy, 1-minute feature is great when you're in a rush, easy to use, easy to change brush heads, you no longer dread the dentist!
Cons: uv feature only worked a few months, brush & heads pricey (but worth it)

Both my husband and I like our Sonicare toothbrushes. The design is great, as is the quality of the product. I splurged on the Flexcare + model and although I can't say anything negative about the product itself, I wouldn't pay for such an expensive model again. In my opinion, the UV sanitizer system isn't worth the cost.
