Sonicare continues to be the best rechargeable power toothbrush on the market. Cleans really well, holds a charge and has nice features. Yes--it helps whiten teeth. Future designs need to completely seal the bottom where, currently, there is a seam where the rubber grip meets the body. Over time, this gets dirty and permanently discolored.
Pros: cleans really well, holds a charge, helps whiten teeth, easy-to-use
Cons: poor grip design/discolors gets dirty

My teeth feel like I have just had a professional cleaning everytime I brush my teeth. My daughter has it also and says the same thing. I would highly recommend this to everyone! I am considering it as a Christmas gift for my parents. I could see this being very helpful to anyone with physical limitations.

Fantastic Toothbrush

Since I have been using my Sonic Toothbrush, my teeth have improved immensely. My gums use to bleed and they were very sensitive, but since I have been using the sonic brush my gums do not bleed anymore and the sensitivity level is almost next to nil. I have told all of my friends and family just how great this sonic brush is. I love my Sonic Brush.

This is my second sonicare toothbrush!! What sold me on this one was the recommendation from my dentist. He mentioned that the new sonicare toothbrush had the chamber that sanitizes the brush heads after use. My first toothbrush I had had for years, it was starting to fall apart, so I ordered and received my second toothbrush. I love it!
Pros: chamber that sanitizes the brush heads
Cons: the vibrating noise that it makes when you use it.

I can't believe that I would say any toothbrush is awsome, but this one is. I was sharing the handle with my wife (constantly swapping the brush heads#. I left it at home with her when I went on a business trip, and had to use my old tootbrush. I hated it. When I got home, I bought another Sonicare so my wife and I #and now my teenage son) all have our own. They are somewhat expensive, but I think it is worth it.
