Haunted Toothbrush...

When at home, we regularly store our Sonic FlexCare+ toothbrush on the charging station. When on holidays it often looses its charge within 2-3 days.
We were out of town last week it randomly turned on/off in the middle of the night as if it was haunted. We had to wrap it in a towel and put it in the closet because it would not stop!!
It would work on/off for the next few days and now will not turn on. We thought maybe the charge was gone, but put it on the charger when we got home and it just vibrates on/off and will not stop. For a $$$ toothbrush we expected much better quality!

I have purchased 2 of these now. The Flex care + and most recently the Diamond clean. They both broke internally at the same spot. The head just flops around now. I was sure i registered my last one but of course its not showing so no warranty.
Pros: work great for a while.
Cons: both mine failed in the first few years.

HIi there. love my toothbrush. we recently updated the electrical and have tamper proof GFI in each bathroom and we can not plug in the toothbrush any longer. with some detective work only a polarized plug will open the tamper proof and can be plugged in. This toothbrush does not have a polarized plug. Cant believe this. Otherwise I love the toothbrush and I cant use it any more. I am not plugging it in another room.

Hate the Speed button

I have been using this brush for over 2 years with no problems except the lousy speed button that I'm always hitting. you should have made this button much smaller and positioned it out of the way. I wish you made a cover for it I could put on it now.
I like this toothbrush's handling design, however, I would not recommend this Phillips product to other consumers. The main reason, even though, it has 5 brushing modes, you have to completely stop brushing in order to switch to the next mode and then restart the brush. I find it highly impractical. Having used other electrical brushes, were you could move from one brushing mode to another without completely shutting off the toothbrush, I think that Phillips can improve on this toothbrush's Modes operating design.
Pros: great handling design
Cons: each brushing mode is on on / off format, brushing modes are not interchangeable
