Best dental care product I've used.

This toothbrush was highly recommended by my last two dentists. The product has definitely improved the condition of my gums. I am lucky enough to still have all my teeth at 66 and Sonicare will help me do just that.

Much improved over the original product

We owned an original Sonicare many years ago. For a good period of time, it was our only toothbrush in the house (we actually owned two units; one for our two young sons and one for my wife and I). All was well until we discovered that the retaining ring for the brush heads was the brush's Achilles Heal. Breakage was very common and replacement of the retaining ring got very expensive, especially with two Sonicare's in the house.
Philips solved that problem with the FlexCare+. The brush simply snaps into place. Gone is the large retaining ring that was subject to frequent breakage and caused much frustration for me.
Love the new design. The handle is trimmed down and the bush shaft has lost some weight as well! We are very glad to return to the Philips Sonicare tooth brush.
Pros: very light with a great feel in the hand, the uv sanitizing light is a great idea!, gum care features
Cons: brushes are a little spendy.

It operates as advertised. The battery operates as long as two weeks on the three minute cycle without recharging. It cleans my teeth effectively.
Pros: the charger stand charges when needed.
Cons: the brush indicator lasts only one month.

Great toothbrush

I have had several toothbrushes over 50 years and the sonicare is the best. Ease of use and functionality clearly separate this brush from manual brushes and even compared to the rotary brand the degree of cleaning is palpably different. I had one handle go bad and Philips was very helpful in replacing with new brush and warranty
Pros: effectiveness and cost/ use
Cons: cost of replacement heads

This is my first electric toothbrush. I love the options on it, however, I wish that it had circular, rotating brushes. I still feel that the manual brush cleans much better.
Pros: multi-features, long battery life, travel case, brush design fits between teeth
Cons: does not have circular brush heads
