Excellent Dental Check-Ups

I bought this toothbrush in February from my dentist for my husband and I. After using it 2-3 times daily for 6 months, at my next dental visit, the hygenist was very impressed at the cleanliness and health of my teeth and gums. The difference in time (and pain) from my last cleaning was unbelievable. I was in and out in no time! My teeth feel cleaner and healthier than they have ever before and I would definitely recommended this product to anyone.

I have been using this toothbrush for about 8 months. I was going to the dentist every 4 months due to plaque build-up which was causing unhealthy gums. Now I am back to 6 month cleanings as my gums have considerably less plaque. It is very easy to use and indicator it so helpful in making sure you take the time to clean all of your teeth equally.

We only use Sonicare. Even when we travel we have the battery operated Sonicare to take with us. When I worked for an Orthodontist, we could tell who was using it and who was using it properly(kids). If their teeth were spotless, then they were using it right. If their teeth were full of plaque, you knew they were not telling the truth about using it. The hardest part we told our rep was that we convinced our patients to purchase one at our office, but their kids would stop using when they were done treatment. We tried to tell them Sonicare is a great toothbrush with or without braces and to not stop using it once the braces came off.
Pros: does not hurt your teeth or gums
Cons: top of toothbrush always seems to break

Grip needs ergonomic redesign

Great except it is difficult to maintain proper brush orientation due to not having any obvious handle design that allows for accurate, constant tactile orientation of the brush head.
Difficulty in orienting brush head leads to hard vibration against tooth surfaces.
Maybe have the handle be flattened in some manner instead of essentially round. I'm constantly struggling to maintain tactile awareness of where the on/off switch is so as to keep proper brush contact with gumline and teeth.
Otherwise, really great product. Don't ever remember having my teeth feel so squeaky clean.
Pros: cleans teeth well
Cons: difficult to maintain brush orientation
