this product is not what I thought it would be

I find this product to be no better or worse than using a regular tooth brush. The brush heads are hard to interchange. we have replaced the brush holder on the base, which pulled out. fortunatly it was under warranty. I find this product messy to use. I have been using this product for 6 months now. I just had my semi annual checkup, and it was no better than when I used a regular brush. when we travel I can't take it with me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Depending on how long you travel you may be able to take Sonicare with you! When fully charged, the unit should provide 42 2-minute brushes, which equals out to be around 3 weeks of use.

Great Toothbrush, too bad its so hard to get the brush head off

I love that the brush head can be cleaned every night with ultraviolet light. Too bad it's to very difficult to remove the brush head from the base. It's painful fingers every time and twice the top of the brush head has come off leaving the bottom of the brush head still attached to the base unit. Other than that, I love everything about this toothbrush, so I guess it's a love/hate thing. I'll keep using it. I'll keep buying heads for it. I guess I'd even recommend it with the proper warning.
Pros: choice of cleaning cycles, ultraviolet head cleaner
Cons: head very difficult to remove from base unit

I have extensive gum disease/recession. This product has greatly improved my recession. When I was without it for a couple of months I could tell a difference almost immediately. I am hooked!

brush head-a softer plastic head would reduce annoying chatter
when head contacts teeth.
handle shape-round handle becomes slippery with 'slobber'. This calls for tighter grip which results in unintentionally pushing buttons.
