I am sure it's beneficial to dental care but it feels like it is jarring my implants and crowns out of the gums. After trying for 2 months have given up and gone back to a manual toothbrush.
As for my recommendation, a person needs to determine for themselves. I know people who both like or dislike it. However, it is an expensive "test".
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dentist's recommendation was spot on!

My dentist recommended the Flexcare+ when she began noticing some deepening pockets along my gumline. I wasn't sure I wanted to deal with a "high tech electric toothbrush" again but wow, what a difference it made! I feel like I have just had a dental cleaning after each brushing! I love all the optional modes too.

Expensive, but worth it.

I've used this product for 8 months now. This product does everything as advertised. Can it be a little cheaper? Can it be a little lighter? Can it be a little quieter? Yes on all counts, but, (sorry but I have to say it) you get what you pay for. It is well made, sturdy, solid, and fairly powerful. That said, I would highly recommend this product.
I have tried several competitor brand electric toothbrushes over the past decade and have finally found one that I love. In the past I would only use my electric toothbrush at night and always had my manual on standby for the morning or even at night when I couldn't be bothered to struggle with the old electric ones that never really felt like they were cleaning very well. Thanks to Sonicaire I no longer keep a manual toothbrush on standby and use my Sonicaire exclusively. In addition to all of the available brushing options, I love that we can sanitize the brusheads! Even my husband uses the Sonicaire exclusively now... that's how awesome it is!
My dentist recommended this toothbrush. I have a follow-up appointment after 3 months. Whether or not this toothbrush reduces my plaque build-up will be determined at that time. If this does not help, the cost of the toothbrush outweighs its usefulness. If possible, I would like to have another review in February. I use a minimal amount of toothpaste, but the froth from brushing runs down the handle reducing one's grip. Possibly redesign the brush heads to divert this excess spume.

I've been using Sonicare products for years and this product performs as expected. I really love how much cleaner my teeth feel than with manual toothbrushes. The UV Sanitizer also really appealed to me with this model.
After owning this product about a year the UV bulb seems to have worn out. Also, I've found that the brush heads are difficult to keep clean with any model.
Pros: gets teeth really clean, uv sanitizer is an awesome addition
Cons: hard to keep clean, uv sanitizer bulb doesn't last
