Excellent brush but problemmatic maintenance

I have had great experience using Sonicare brushes and this one is not different, except... after a few weeks of use my brush went on the blink. Sonicare agreed to replace it without charge, but notified me that the problem probably occurred because the bottom part o the brush probably got wet during cleaning. Well, it probably did. It is very difficult to use a toothbrush and not have it get wet. Simple electric toothbrushes get wet and don't go on the blink, I am surprised that Sonicare's brush needs to be towel dried except for the brush area. So it cleans teeth beautifully but having to watch out that it won't get wet is a real problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not reliable

I am on my second toothbrush in as many years. The first one broke. You replaced it. The second one has quit irking. I am very disappointed. I truly liked the product but it lacks the reliability for me to recommend it to anyone.
Pros: does a thorough job
Cons: this is the second device. the motor has failed .

Your teeth feel like you just left the dentist clean. I actually extended the time between dentist visits because it does such a good job. Already paid for itself. The battery charge lasts for weeks.

The product was easy to set-up and has been easy to use. We took it with us out of town and the travel case and charger made it convenient to carry. I like the sanitizing feature as well and I use it three to four times most days without a problem...

This is my second Sonicare (I wore out the battery on the first one after 5 years).
My new Sonicare is wonderful - I like the different brushing modes and I like the different heads.
Best of all, I like going to the dentist and getting such good reports.

Best electric toothbrush I have used

If you are looking for an electric toothbrush which provides several functions, is easy to use, and provides for ample brushing time--this is it!
Pros: blue light for brushes, travel kit
Cons: needs a "softer" sensitive setting
