Cons: toothbrush heads are difficult to get hold of

The replacement brush heads are overly expensive for an item that needs to be replaced yearly. Also, the handle is not particularly ergonomic.

We love our new Sonicare toothbrush. Your teeth feel very clean. I feel like reports at the dental office will be much improved. As a matter of fact my husband just went to have a cleaning and the hygienist saw marked improvement in his teeth and gums.

Superb toothbrushing system

My wife and I LOVE our Philips Sonicare FlexCare+ Rechargeable sonic toothbrush for teeth cleaning and for gum care. Manual brushing or even other electronic toothbrushes just don't give the same superb level of "clean." Believe it or not, we look forward to brushing! Plus, our dentist has praised the vivid results -- we don't get 'lectured' like we used to : )
The handle is well balanced and is easy to operate. We like the 'massage' setting especially. The brush heads, although expensive to replace as often as recommended (our only complaint) work great. The sanitizer compartment works well and provides an attractive storage place for the brush heads as well as a charger stand for the handle. We would definitely buy again and highly recommend this product.
Pros: ease of use, excellent quality product, superb teeth and gum care, makes you want to brush!, ergonomic handle is well balanced, sanitizer doubles as brush head storage
Cons: brush heads are expensive to replace often

I won't ever go back to a regular toothbrush after using the Sonicare. Plus, I get positive feedback from my dentist on it's effectiveness every time I go for a check-up.

One problem with the design. On my first Sonicare, the pin on the handle broke off. Philips sent me a new handle and the pin on this one is a little crooked, so I have to push very hard to attach the toothbrush head. All in all, however, I'm delighted with it and my periodontist is pleased with the improvement in my home care.
Pros: works well
Cons: hard to attach brush head
