As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. Although this unit is more on the pricier side of sonic type toothbrushes, you are paying for quality, ease of use, performance and the addition of a bacteria killing UV Light brush holder where you store you brush inside and push a button to zap it with a 10 minute burst of Ultraviolet light that kills off bacteria that WILL be on the toothbrush after you brush your teeth. The human mouth is full of bacteria so it is very nice to know that whenever I grab my brush head, I know it is CLEAN and probably 99% free of bacteria.
The unit is very easy to use, just a matter of pushing the button once to turn it on and once to turn it off. There are several other settings like gum massage that can be chosen via a smaller button that lets you cycle through the other options. They light up and so it is very easy to see which option you have selected and when the product is turned on, aside from feeling the vibration of the unit while in the "on" position.
The travel charger is convenient and small which is great. You also get two brushes, one normal sized head and another with a smaller head for those harder to reach places in the mouth. The travel case is nice and holds the unit and both brush heads perfectly. It has some small perforations in the plastic to allow for airflow in and out of the case in anticipation of there being small amounts of moisture due to water on the brush heads after you rinse it off. The perforations allow this water to evaporate out of the case so that the brushes are completely dry and so you don't have a moisture farm that would otherwise be a breeding ground for bacteria inside the case when it is not being used while travelling.
I paid extra for the quality of this product and I got it. Sure, there's cheaper units out there but you will find that they just don't perform as well as this one and don't offer the same performance standards. Nor will they come with the UV Light brush housing and extra travel charger. This is a great product for those of you who are serious about your sonic toothbrush!

Cleanest Mouth Ever

I have used three brands of powered toothbrushes and Philips Sonicare gives the cleanest feeling to your teeth and gums. Such a refreshing afterfeeling.
I am so glad my dentist recommended the use of this product.

I love my sonicare toothbrush! It's so easy to use with different modes that can be switched easily. It also comes with the uv sanitizer that I use regularly to ensure that my brushhead is always clean. I also love the travel case which makes it easy to bring whenever I travel since I always travel for work.

I like the fact that it times you in 15 second increments for the four sections of your teeth. It also has a gum massage function that is important for your teeth as well. I truly am impressed with this product.
Pros: your teeth feel clean and are clean! ., dont have one
