A fine stove at a fair price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this range for three months. We find the choices of burners on the cook top a real convenience. The oven temperature is accurate and our baked goods come out well cooked, but not burned. This range is an excellent choice.

Good Basic Electric Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our GE JB650DTWW electric range appears to be well built and contains enough new features to make it feel like a "modern" range without costing an arm and a leg. It operates well, but with the following issues: The oven appears to take a longer time than expected to warm up to an average temperature (350). The oven vent (in the control panel) is quite close to the back burners, which has presented condensation issues when one is in use at the same time (minor/occasional issue.) The glass cook top appears more difficult to clean than our last range unless one uses the special cleaner provided with the range. Other than these minor issues, we are satisfied with our purchase. Seems a good range at a reasonable cost.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love to cook and bake and this range has plenty of space to handle several pots or casseroles at a time. I clean it regularly with the approved product and the stove always looks shiny and new. The oven does seem to take longer to reach the temperature selected than my prior range.
I wish the drawer was a heavier gage metal as it seems to dip when you pull it out and doesn't glide as nicely as it might.
It's still a great stove and I'm happy I chose it!

This range cooks & bakes well, BUT....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this range since 3/15/13. The recommended procedure for cleaning the glass top has only 1 procedure: use the Cerama Bryte cream as described, EVERY time you want to wipe the top, even if there is no residue to be cleaned off.
This is insane. We have had 3 previous glass top ranges (other brands) and the ONLY time the cream was to be used was when there was residue. The rest of the time a damp cloth could be used. NONE ever sustained damage!
This is so disappointing we are considering returning the stove for a refund and getting a brand with "saner" cleaning options for when the glass top is NOT soiled with residue.
