I erased all of my Music on the Go Gear. I can't find my disk that came with the Mp3 player. My wife's son went on line to get the information to set up the the Philips GO Gear mp3 player. I reloaded all of my CD"s plus some new ones. Now all of my music is in my Albums and under music all the folders are there with the name's for the players but there IS NO Music Tracks in the Folders so I can not play any songs. I can ONLY play the music in A album only. I Could use some help, because I Like your product, but not at this state or time. Also why is my music ending in .alb and not in something that I could connect my GO Gear player and play it on my computer to check the song.

SOUNDS AND PLAYS FINE. THE PHILLIPS SONGBIRD PROGRAM IS SLOW AND TAKES 2 TO 3 MINUTES JUST TO LAUNCH. IT IS NOT MY COMPUTER. I SHOULD HAVE SPENT THE MONEY AND BOUGHT SOMETHING MORE USER FRIENDLY. FOR A 4GB UNIT IT TAKES 6 HOURS OR BETTER JUST TO LOAD A PLAYLIST. NO QUICK CHANGE OF PLAYLISTS......D
This MP3 player is more user friendly than others I have owned. It is very easy to put it in the random play mode. The only thing I do not like about it is that the volume is not easy to adjust.
I like everything about the MP3 except I wish it had a manual with it. I like looking at a book when I have a question not the computer! All in all I like it though - nice sound.
