Black Refrigerator scratches

I bought this refrigerator in black. If you wipe the front, it scratches everywhere you wipe with a soft cloth. Returned it and got another one and did the same thing. Ended up getting the stainless steel, which is awful to clean but atleast I don't have scratches. Be sure to check the black before you buy!! Won't buy kitchen aid again. Called the company and they were no help.

Refrigeratgor Drawers

We bought this 3 years ago. Last month the meat/cheese drawer front broke off. There are two small plastic tabs that are supposed to be strong enough to hold it on. One of the tabs broke off, and with only one tab left it was just a matter of time until the other tab broke, taking a corner of the drawer with it. $250 later we have a new drawer coming, except that it's on back order because so many of them have broken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have had my new Kitchenaid refrigerator since June 11, 2013 and I just love it. Lots of space and the lighting is spectacular - 6 lights in the refrigerator and 3 in the freezer. Ice cubes and water work great. Never thought I would get so excited about a refrigerator. Water measurement is a great feature.

Great roominess. Love the smaller shelves for items so they don't take up space for the larger ones. Refrigerator door swings very wide, making it easier to pull out larger items. Bottom shelves, the perfect size. Freezer is more than ample for this Italian cook!

Overall, we are very happy with all of our KitchenAid appliances. When we renovated our kitchen, we bought EVERY item KitchenAid had available, including this fridge. Its been great, we love the auto dispense on the water dispenser, but water filters are $30.00 each (Recommended to change every 6 months.) Our biggest complaint is that the display panel for the water/ice dispenser is seperating from the fridge. Thankfully this happened within the first year of ownership.
Pros: easy to use, Innovative, Convenient Features, Design, Performance
Cons: ice bucket is loud, display panel coming seperated
