[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator when we bought a new home March of 2014 and have been waiting to write the review. (I prefer to use the product for some time before committing to performance.) We have had multiple issues with this model. First, a ding in the door when delivered, new door arrives and it looks used (scratched and insulation hanging out). Second door arrives and we are happy with the appearance. About 2 months later I notice the refrigerator door will not close unless really pushed shut. Another service call for replacement of hinges. Then the ice maker quits, serviced, not one time, but three times and every time it was a different repair. Replacement of the display screen and I believe some kind of computer module finally fixed the ice maker issue. Holding my breath as it is time to replace the water filter again and in the past this has initiated the ice maker problem. Not only the hinges need to be replaced, as mentioned above, but also the rollers. The service technicians were having trouble moving in and out. I finally asked one if that was normal and he said, "No". So I suggested that they be replaced, as I might want to move it out someday and clean behind it. There is always moisture along the interior wall of the refrigerator on the freezer side. Service man adjusted defrost mode a little, but there was no change. It is something I decided to just put up with. One good thing, there is plenty of lighting, but it is very difficult to find anything. I did not notice (my bad) that the shelves cannot be adjusted, and I feel that there are two shelves that are so close together I can't see what is on them. I call the one under the deli tray the "secret shelf", because if I want to hide any food, that is the place to do it. Also, it drives my family crazy that you can not fill a glass with water and open the refrigerator door at the same time. I have been very disappointed in this refrigerator. Went with KitchenAid because of the counter depth KitchenAid in old house, but I can't get as much food in this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 01/11/15 I bought this KitchenAid Fridge.
It was not installed until 04/01/15 in my new kitchen. 4 times the icemaker has broken in 6 months. Also the fridge door would not close, seal and was not flush with freezer door. The repairmen, meaning 4 different men have come to my house to repair. KitchenAid will not replace the fridge. I have called the place where I bought it and nothing is being done. Now, the last repair man that came yesterday made the doors flush but he had to drill extra holes in the bracket above and the screws show. For such an expensive refrigerator the quality is lacking and KitchenAid only is making it worse by not holding up to a high standard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought an entire kitchen of Kitchen Aid appliances for our new home. We have had Kitchen Aid before and have been pleased. I am however disappointed in the new Kitchen Aid Dishwasher because it now longer has a handle that matches all of the other Architect Series that I have in my new kitchen. The handle is not white but silver and looks totally out of place. I tried to talk to someone at Kitchen Aid to see if I could get a handle to match all of the other appliances that I have in my new kitchen but I have not gotten anyone to help me with this problem. A silver handle on a white dishwasher looks totally out of place with the other Kitchen Aid appliances that I have. I even tried to exchange it for a Architect 2 series only to be told that they were no longer available. Very disappointed in the look of the new handle. Your question upcoming about whether I would recommend you product is hard for me to answer because although I like the Kitchen Aid products I am disappointed in the new appearance of the new Kitchen Aid Dishwasher Model # KDTE104EWHO. Please let me know if I can get a White handle to match all of the other Kitchen Aid Appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this KitchenAid Fridge in June 2014 and I am so disappointed. My last fridge was also a KitchenAid and it lasted 17 years and the only noise it made was when the ice fell into the tray but my new KitcheAid has made this horrible noise from the beginning like a helicopter taking off and now after 2 years it seems to be getting worse. In the manual it says it is normal for the fridge to make noise so I thought ok....but it seems to get louder and louder so that I even hear it at night while trying to sleep. I am so disappointed and wish I had never bought it. I thought for the price it was I would get a better quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a bit disappointed as I purchased the product on 11/12/2016 and already have had two service call and it is only 12/6/2016. One call was because the water filter was leaking inside the fridge and now the ice maker isn't working. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No stars (negative stars) We purchased this refrigerator in Sept 2013. We are on the third ice maker. It still only makes six little cubes every two hours. Water is now leaking from under the unit and has ruined our wood floor. The ice maker is in the door and is extremely noisy. The shelves are not adjustable and are poorly arranged. The only good thing about the ice maker in the door is that it gives more room in the freezer, so you can put in about 6 or 8 ice cube trays in order to have enough ice.
