Bought this to replace a KitchenAid side by side that was 21 years old and still running perfectly! I am even happier with this new one! It has classicly modern clean lines and the stainless steel is easy to keep clean with no special effort. The inside lighting is lovely. Great storage.

The refridgerator is great. We have had it for about two months and we love it! There is plenty of storage in the fridge and the freezer is huge. The water and ice feature work great. Great lighting too. Overall this is a awsome fridge!

I love everything about this refrigerator. The features, design and quality are above average. Very well built and easy to change and re-arrange to your personal likings. The only negative is that the refrigerator door does not close on its own after you push it. It seems to lack that "pull" to close on its own. I have to constantly make sure it has closed.

I bought this refrigerator to replace a 25 year old Whirlpool side by side which was a wonderful refrigerator and is still working. I thought 25 years was pushing it to not replace it soon. I researched for over two years trying to find a side by side refrigerator with all the features I was used to. I bought the KitchenAid since it is now part of the Whirlpool family and I was told it was of higher quality than the Whirlpool. I like the size of the refrigerator and especially the amount of room in the freezer since the ice maker is on the door. The many lights inside the refrigerator are a plus and makes it easy to find items. The downside is that the ice maker makes about 1/3 the amount of ice that my Whirlpool makes. And as the other reviews that I read pointed out, the ice maker dispenser is so noisy that I am unable to hear the television in the next room when using it I thought maybe, it was an exaggeration but no, it is true, really, really loud!! You also are unable to open the refrigerator door while using the ice or water dispenser. The refrigerator is attractive but the finish scratches very easily. I have the black finish. I am somewhat disappointed with this purchase because of the information I shared. It does have it's positives. Time will tell if this refrigerator lives up to the Kitchen Aid reputation.

I bought this refrigerator less than a month ago and i am very disappointed with the product. The refrigerator has a problem ( freezing food on the fridge side, on the top shelf ). Plus the fridge look good on the outside , but inside all the drawers are very cheap, poor quality made . I am sorry i picked this brand refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the way the shelves and drawers can be moved around so I can put some items within reach of kids, others up higher. I have more space than my previous side by side. Easy to clean. Nothing bad to say!

Disappointed with Quality

So far we've had two drawers in the fridge and one in the freezer all fail in the same way. The small plastic tabs that attached to the front panels all cracked. For a premier brand I would expect a better design for something that is put under stress every day. I am also disappointed in flow of the water dispenser. It is painfully slow and the ice make is way ridiculously slow and loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
