(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this KitchenAid Fridge in June 2014 and I am so disappointed. My last fridge was also a KitchenAid and it lasted 17 years and the only noise it made was when the ice fell into the tray but my new KitcheAid has made this horrible noise from the beginning like a helicopter taking off and now after 2 years it seems to be getting worse. In the manual it says it is normal for the fridge to make noise so I thought ok....but it seems to get louder and louder so that I even hear it at night while trying to sleep. I am so disappointed and wish I had never bought it. I thought for the price it was I would get a better quality.

Disappointed with many features of this refrigerator. Cheap, plastic DRAWERS- front facing breaks off when pulled out. This happened in the freezer and the refrigerator, I've had to glue them back together because the plastic tabs are completely broken off. WATER DISPENSER- water is room temperature, not cold. Rust is forming in tray beneath dispenser. ICE MAKER - is very loud. SHELVES- are not adjustable. Kitchen Aid has provided service when requested; however, I would not recommend this product.

Interior space layout does not fit our lifestyle. Too many small height shelves, not enough variety. Limited medium to tall height shelf layout.

Piece of Garbage

I have had this model for a couple of years and I have had to replace water valves, switches, and make various other repairs. I strongly recommend NEVER buy a KitchenAid appliance. Currently, I am one of the myriad of customers who have a non-functioning ice dispenser. I have gone through all the troubleshooting and had two professionals look at it and they cannot fix it. I think KitchenAid should stick to small appliances and get out of the refrigerator business.
