Wow! Super excited at first now super diappointed!

I bought this fridge last summer 2017 and we were super excited! After a few days it leaked water on our floor and did damage to our floating floor ... We repaired it and in short order the ice maker stopped dispensing ice properly. Now it makes ice and we fish it out of the tray with our hands. Shortly thereafter all the drawer fronts broke off of the fridge side and the fridge consistently either freezes things or doesn’t keep them cool enough ... not enough to kill us from food borne illnesses just enough that it spoils or freezes many of our food items beyond edibity. This has been a major disappointment. I will not buy a Kitchen Aid appliance again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fridge 6 months ago and it has worked great for us. Replacement of water and air filter is super easy. Great soild glass shelving. When using water dispenser it counts in ounces how much water has been dispensed. Only issue we have had is that the ounce count has seems to always be off by a lot.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Burst into flames

The bottom of the refrigerator, likely the motor, burst into flames. Luckily I was home.

After 3 years, the fridge stop working

After 3 years, the fridge stop working properly. The cooling and freezing systems were on and off. Very disappointed, we bought all our appliances from KitchenAid expecting to be a more durable brand. We just also replaced the dishewasher. Looking for buying other brands now.

Squeaking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the look of my frig, it has great lighting inside and lots of space. However, the squeaking all the time drives me insane. I have stuffed styrofoam between the wall and frig and did the same on the side by built in desk. I have tried rolling it, adjusting it, moving it forward or backward! It sounds like crickets in my kitchen all the time!!! Ugh
