Good Fridge - Bad ice and water dispenser

The fridge works well. The shelves hold plenty and the arrangements are infinite. However the ice dispenser manufactures cubes that are linked together. The ice maker is sealed so if it ever jams, there is no way to unjam it. As for the water, the first 4 to 6 oz of water from the dispenser come out room temperature. After that the water is cold. The price\performance of the unit just makes it an OK buy not a great buy.

We are enjoying the bright LED lights, more space than we had in our previous side-by-side, sturdy glass shelves, roomy door shelves and attractive appearance. However, we had this refrigerator in our home for one week and the ice maker stopped working. A repairman is scheduled to arrive later this week.

I bought an entire kitchen of Kitchen Aid appliances for our new home. We have had Kitchen Aid before and have been pleased. I am however disappointed in the new Kitchen Aid Dishwasher because it now longer has a handle that matches all of the other Architect Series that I have in my new kitchen. The handle is not white but silver and looks totally out of place. I tried to talk to someone at Kitchen Aid to see if I could get a handle to match all of the other appliances that I have in my new kitchen but I have not gotten anyone to help me with this problem. A silver handle on a white dishwasher looks totally out of place with the other Kitchen Aid appliances that I have. I even tried to exchange it for a Architect 2 series only to be told that they were no longer available. Very disappointed in the look of the new handle. Your question upcoming about whether I would recommend you product is hard for me to answer because although I like the Kitchen Aid products I am disappointed in the new appearance of the new Kitchen Aid Dishwasher Model # KDTE104EWHO. Please let me know if I can get a White handle to match all of the other Kitchen Aid Appliances.

Disappointed

I bought it back in 2011. Within a year, I had to purchase drawer because the from panel. As of now, I have about 3 drawers without front panel. Recently, no water comes out from dispenser because it is too cold in refrigerator side which "freezes" the filter. .

Bought this refrigerator six years ago, and in that time have had to replace the snack drawer 4 times, a freezer drawer and the crisper drawer. A few months ago the ice maker stopped working, and this week the refrigerator started freezing everything we put in it. I'm done and am now shopping for a new, non-KitchenAid refrigerator.

Poor Quality

Due to the frequent snapping of the drawers, we have had to resort to supergluing the drawers back together. The icemaker has broken consistent problem, but I figured out how to fix it myself. The refrigerator cools unevenly and food spoils. The door is misaligned although Ktichenaid/Whirlpool has repaired it numerous times. Bought this new in 2014 and it has been a problem ever since. I am buying a Samsung this weekend to replace it.
