Our original order was for the previous version of this refrigerator. We had to wait for line changes but it was worth it!
This refrigerator is amazing! Improvements in lighting, filtration, cooling control, shelf arrangement and ice maker are just that.
The only thing I am having to get accustomed to is the sound of the ice maker when it resets. It sounds like my printer.

I like this refrigerator because of its space, especially the space saving "ice maker in the door" feature. It makes a huge difference in the amount of freezer space I now have.

I have replaced my crisper drawer twice in two years. It breaks at the same weak point every time. kitchenaid should do something about this.

I really like my new fridge, except for the ice maker. This one makes more noise than any I have had in the past. Other than that I am really impressed with the design of the fridge and freezer.

drawers broken 3 times in 22 months

We were very happy with this fridge overall but the drawers keep breaking.The top of the front of of the drawers are held by flimsy plastic tabs which break easily and cant be fixed-so we have duct taped 3 drawers!
Until this happened we really liked the fridge.
We will need a new fridge when we move soon-would buy this again if not for this problem-any solutions from kitchenaid?

Well lit

I was surprised that the most notable thing I could think of about this refrigerator is that it is "well lit," but that is what comes to mind. The theater-style lighting is very effective at showing the contents of the refrigerator. I like the bright LED lights.
The unit is very quiet, EXCEPT the ice maker which can be heard all over the house when it clunks.
I don't know what to get excited about with a refrigerator. I like that it has so many drawers, especially in the freezer, and that they have see-through tops. Everything seems to work OK, and that's what one wants a refrigerator to do. One time the chilled water stopped working. I removed and replaced the same water filter, and it started working again and there have been no more problems.
