I didnt think I was going to mind that you can't get water/ice when door is open, however it is surprisingly annoying. The fruit/vegetable doors are great performers.

my wife loves her new refrigerator, it is bright with the interior lighting, has plenty of room with the storage crispers and shelving, freezer section is roomy also with plenty of shelving for items. plus it is very quiet when operating, all in all she gives it a 10+. thank you Kitchen Aid.

We received our new refrigerator on Aug 31, 2015 & took about a week to get used to its lay out & features. Our one gripe is the door bins. There is no where in the owner's manual stating that the standard bin can only be place in the lower half of the door & the gallon bins can only be placed in the upper half of the door. We do not like this arrangement as it does not give the user freedom to arrange the bins to his liking & feel it could be dangerous in a household with children. After talking with one of your customer service reps he agreed & would send us another standard bin.

Disappointed with many features of this refrigerator. Cheap, plastic DRAWERS- front facing breaks off when pulled out. This happened in the freezer and the refrigerator, I've had to glue them back together because the plastic tabs are completely broken off. WATER DISPENSER- water is room temperature, not cold. Rust is forming in tray beneath dispenser. ICE MAKER - is very loud. SHELVES- are not adjustable. Kitchen Aid has provided service when requested; however, I would not recommend this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love our new Fridge

We bought our new side by side about a month ago. Our old kitchen aid of 25 years had finally reached the end of its life. Ice maker works great ( I first thought it was too small) and we have never run out of ice yet. When you add in $50 from our power company for a upgrade and the $25.00 I got from recycling..... it was a great buy.
