Great value and Kitchenaid quality. This large refrigerator provides ample and convenient storage space the top shelf easily fits multiple gallon cartons of milk juice or your beverages of choice. There are many spaciousdrawers and compartments for all of your needs. The low profile hinges make it look more of like a custom built-in appliance and the internal halogen lighting is brightand sleek. The external touch screen is fantastic.

I actually have the counter depth model of this fridge. I've owned it for 18 months. At one year, the ice maker failed. When it was replaced, the technician also discovered that the reason my vegetable bins didn't close properly was because the foam insulation was installed improperly at the factory. That took another two trips to fix. Then, the ice maker failed again and fixing it included adding pads below the freezer door switches to be sure they were working correctly - again a factory defect. Then, the ice make auger motor failed and it had to be replaced. Last week the ices maker started to make water for new ice but never stopped. Now, I am waiting for them to replace the ice maker switches because they will not decare my machine a lemon. I expected more from KitchenAid.

A nice looking step backwards

We have had this behemoth for about 6 months now. It looks nice inside and out. The interior lighting is very nice. Otherwise it is a poor reflection of the 15 year old fridge it replaced. Water in door is not cold. Indoor ice maker is noisy, ice dispenser is sloppy and spews ice chips. We could never figure out how to install the "freshflow" air filter. I promise that none of the instructions matched what I held in my hand. It was a puzzle with no solution. The whole door display is silly, a lot of geegaws that do nothing of value. The best I can say is that keeps cold, but any new fridge should do that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great replacement refrigertor

This unit replaced a Whirlpool side by side we had for 15 yrs. This unit is a little larger and has much better usable space. The water/ice dispensers, with options are remarkable and the ice maker in the door gives more freezer space. Our old refrig gave us good service and we think this one will even be better.

I have had a condensation on the outside of my freezer door since I bought it. Repair has been slow. they said I needed a new door. That was 6 weeks ago and still no new door yet

We bought this side by side and was surprised at how many inside lights come on when the door is open. It is beautiful on the outside and even better when the doors are open. Also has a lot of space to put foods & beverages in. LOVE IT!
