Very Disappointing

While some may rate it highly for style points as a sleek and stylish addition to your kitchen and while I agree the interior lights are very nice, there are a number of annoyances with this fridge and one very annoying defect.
1) Limited options for shelf intervals. Simpler, cheaper fridges have rack systems with much more flexibility. With this fridge you're extremely limited with how far apart you can space your shelves. Actually gets quite annoying with jars and bottles of a certain height.
2) The buttons on the control panel don't work properly. Precisely followed the instructions in the manual for calibrating water measurement and it doesn't work. Other issue - the option to turn off the cooling completely is supposed to require two buttons but really only takes one button, so it's easy to shut off your fridge by accident when you're just trying to increase the measured fill amount (i.e. The "+" button is the same as the errant shut off button).
3) I understand the rationale for interrupting water or ice dispensing when the freezer door is open, but why is this interruption also mandatory when the fridge door opens? Doesn't happen on simpler, cheaper fridges. Again, this makes no sense for a premium product.
4) The drawers break! Owned it for less than a year and the front of the crisper drawer broke off due to poor design - it was held on by wimpy little plastic tabs which any design student would know would be insufficient to support frequent use. Yes, I've seen the comment that this is covered under special warranty, etc. but this is no excuse for lousy design on a premium-priced unit. Unacceptable.
5) To reach the ice shutoff switch, you must remove the entire ice bin which can be somewhat awkward and impractical. This company's economy brand models don't have this additional inconvenience.
Overall, not a very thoughtfully or robustly designed fridge. Definitely not worth the price or general aggravation. Better options for spending your money. Very disappointing.

Very good value. Good fit and finish with a quality look. Runs quiet. Separate levers for ice and water is a great feature. Loaded wtih features and controls I may never use. Stainless finish has a quality look and is easy to maintain. Drawers work smoothly. Shelves are very sturdy.

I bought this a month ago and am so happy with it. The other refrigerator was too small for us since we have a garden and need the depth of the drawers. I wish I had bought it 2 years ago when my daughter moved back in. Now it is just two of us and we can still fill the refrigerator up with veggies.

What difference 14 years makes

We bought this to replace our 14 year old Kitchenaid.
We love the french doors and how spacious it is. Because of the configuration of the drawers and shelving we moved all the stuf from old to new and still had lots of room left. The door shelving puts the milk at mid door a nice change in position. The features for ice, water and etc. are a real improvement. The only issue I have with this unit is that since the ice maker has been moved to the door it's noisy.

We have been using this for the last 6l months and are really enjoying it. The Stainless Steel finish is very good to look at. Filtered water is very tasty and the lights that come on and turn off automatically is a nice feature.

We have had this refrigerator for almost 1 year now. We are very happy with it. The ice is on the door which saves shelf space in the freezer. We like the adjustable shelves throughout the entire unit. The crisper drawers work really well. And the electronic LED keypad works great!
