I hate this phone

Bought this phone so I could move into the world of Smartphones without going overboard. And, my old basic Samsung phone was getting harder to keep charged and it was no longer possible to get a battery for it.
Enter the Samsung Replenish. Considering one of the reasons I upgraded was to get a phone that held a charge longer, I was much surprised to learn this one, brand new, was actually WORSE than my old one. Depletes in no time - probably around 4-6 hours (at work, I need to leave it on Airplane mode constantly so it doesn't wear down completely - which in the meantime keeps me from getting any calls, texts, etc. You know, the whole reason you have a portable device). Added to the short battery life is the LONG recharge time and lastly, the mini-USB charger falls out of the phone with the slightest jar, so using it plugged-in is not even possible. Lastly, none of the conventional plug-ins (Silverlight, Quicktime) work with droid, so if you've got a video app that needs it, good luck. Should have stuck it out with my 6 year-old basic phone and that's pretty sad.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations, lack of compatible plug-ins short battery life, long recharge time, usb charger doesn't stay connected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Second Phone

I'll be quite honest. This is only the second phone I have ever owned- my first being a Nokia C3-00. Though in between, I've put my hands on all sorts of touchscreen phones (I'll admit, this is my first touching an android OS ). So, its hard to chose once you've tried the best.
When I first got this phone, I didn't know what to expect. But after having it for a couple of months, you begin to love it. The touch screen is VERY responsive, and there isn't much 'touch' lag- that is, when you slide things up, down, left, and right- and there's a bunch of skipping.
Another, with the right settings- this phone outlasted most of all the other phones my family owns in terms of battery life.
Lastly, the Wi-Fi and the touch and physical keyboards are always a plus. Most web-based items work, however there is no flash. if there is, you cant upgrade it for most sites.
The media player, picture viewer, and video gallery are rather neat- and the live wallpapers are great too.
All in all, this phone exceeded my expectations for a no-contract phone at the price I bought it for (from where I purchased)
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, responsive, decent camera
Cons: Not high def, no adobe flash
I would recommend this to a friend!

More BIG cons than pros!!

because it was my first smart phone I knew I needed to get used to it. It has been 2 months and I am going to get a different phone.
Forget not liking any of the features used specifically for phone. The phone got so hot it the charger melted!!
It did give me a red flashing caution sign right before it happened!
I have gotten this caution flash a few times, plugged in and unplugged. So with that, I don't like this phone.
My son has a different model Samsung and that works well. So, this just is not a brand thing!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, good camera
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, really bad battery life, gets very hot, buttons [lacement, is not compatible with many apps, call/ answer button it is a process that u really

Awesome Phone!

I got this phone a the beginning of 2012, when I switched phone providers. I loved that is was ECO friendly and had a QWERTY keyboard. It's very easy to use, and to carry around.
My only complaints, are that there isn't enough internal memory storage, sometimes you'll have to go and clear data from other apps before being able to update anything.
I'd also like a front facing camera, I have a toddler, who likes taking pictures, (with my phone and camera) but she wants to see the picture the second it's taken, and with only a rear camera, she usually only takes pictures of her fingers or half a face if she's lucky.
If they ever remake this phone keeping everything as it is, but with more internal storage, and a front facing camera... I'll definitely be trading in this version for that one! Until then, I'm never giving up this phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: not enough internal memory, no front facing camera
I would recommend this to a friend!

What a disappointment
on June 3, 2012

I got this phone a year ago all excited over its "green-ness" but I have been so disappointed over the last year. This phone will take forever to load something as simple as a new text message, it drops calls constantly, half the time the touch screen doesn't work, my husband had to start pulling the battery out of his to hang up a call because he couldn't use the touch screen and the keyboard is so small that you fat finger almost every word. I'm not a large person and have fairly slender fingers but still can't type well with it. The design is just small enough that it looks like it should fit in your pocket but doesn't. I can't get a bunch of useless apps, half of which don't work anyway, deleted from the phone (or even to stop running and draining my battery). I love the green idea but this phone is a fail. The screen is also really small compared to other android phones so it sucks to watch videos (which don't work half the time either). I cannot wait until I can upgrade my phone and get something else. Keep trying, Samsung, it was a good idea.
Pros: i can get a different one soon
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Too big, Did not meet expectations, touch screen doesn't work consistently, keyboard ridiculously small, unwanted apps cannot be deleted or stopped
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I LOVE THIS PHONE!

I love this phone for alot of reasons. I really like the way it looks visually. I absoutlely love that it has a keyboard built into the phone and a touch screen keyboard too. I love that you can have a lot of free apps you can choose form on the android market. I also love how it has a built-in camerea and recorder, because I never know when I need to take a picture or a video. I also love that it is light weight and it is cute and small. I have the black one so I put a sticker to jazz it up. You can do any thing with it. I am able to send an e-mail, take a video, send a picture, text, surf the web, and play some games, all on the same electronic. It has a big sceen and it very good at making colors look realistic. You should go and buy one today! I love my samsung replenish & if you get one I know that you will too!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, cute and small
I would recommend this to a friend!
