Power exhaust fan

I bought it for it's powerful exhaust fan and have not been disappointed. It took a little time to learn how to use all the features, especially using a knob instead of touch button to make reheating selections.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I do not like the turn knob; I prefer numbered buttons to program cooking time. I have to push a minimum of five times to get it running, more if I want to "edit."
I do not like the rotating turntable; I prefer a back-and-forth movement .

Knobs on front are terrible

If you want to fix popcorn, it takes a lot of buttons and knob turns before you finally get there. What happened to just having a button on the front that said popcorn? The worst thing is you can't select a cooking time that isn't a multiple of 15. Did you want to heat up something for 20 seconds? Can't be done unless you select 30 seconds and stand there and wait for the countdown to reach 10. Horrible!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this microwave. It replaced the house original appliance which was about 18 years old. It has just the features I need as a retiree who wishes to eat healthy...I've tried most of the different settings and found them to work perfectly.. I sometimes need to cook thick bacon a little longer to get to the crisp level I like, but otherwise it is wonderful...and the bacon issue is probably my quirk.

We've never had anything but GE appliances in any kitchen so when our old GE microwave quit working we selected this product. However, we don't like the black color interior because you can't see what's going on inside. We also don't like the fact that we can't set the cook time to what shows on packages because you only allow 15-second increments vs.the old one where we could select any time period. The product quality is very good (as with all GE products) and we are happy with its performance so far.
