We just remodeled our kitchen and decided to go with the over the oven microwave..the venting /fan system is not noisy like our previous hooded fan..
Although I'm 5'4" I tippy toe toe to use , but it's great not wasting counterspace..remember one thing..at least for gas users. .there must be at least 20 inches between the flame and microwave..

Solid replacement for my first GE Microwave

I bought this model to replace the original GE Profile microwave installed by the builder. The first one lasted 8 years, so I decided to give GE another try and bought a replacement model. I don't think the operation of this one is quite as intuitive as the first one, but overall it works great and I'm happy with my purchase.
