This new microwave was purchased to replace our other Profile model of similar wattage. The look is not as sleek as the previous one; the handle is squared off so it doesn't really match the oven anymore. There is no quick popcorn button and the vegetable button is gone. Thogu the wattage is higher, it doesn't heat the food as quickly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was installed by the builder of our new home after opting for model that mounted over my cooktop. I am still learning how to use all of the features but I have been very pleased with it performance and features so far. Love the auto light timer and the potato sensor cook feature.

Wife and I bought this based on previous experience with a GE Profile microwave. My only complaint is the shelf height. Two options for the removable rack. Low setting is too low, high setting is too high. Would be better with one setting right in the middle between the high and low.

This is my second GE Profile microwave. The first is in another house. This microwave is excellent and true to temperature. I love using it. I hope to use this range to its full potential.

We have had a few GW microwave ovens in our previous houses. This one seemed quite familiar in features and performance. What's not to like? Answer....I hate stainless steel, But, it's trendy. Ten years from now, potential buyers of existing homes will hate the currently trendy hard wood floors that are all scrached up and the dated looking stainless steel appliances.

Easy to Use and Intuitive

We remodeled our kitchen last year. We wanted a built-in model that had the following requirements: 1) a powerful blower exhaust system. We did not add a range hood. We are using the microwave blower as the range hood. The CFM of this microwave was the largest of all the brands we looked at. 2) 30 inches wide, 3) Came in white color. 4) Easy to use, intuitive.
