Its operation is fine! The menu as to selections is hard to read because there is no contrasting colors! The rotating plate makes noise like it is rubbing on something, but at present is operating as it should!
I would recommend this to a friend!

A bit complicated.

So far, we've liked the unit but some of its features are beyond us . The "tiny" booklet leaves something to be desired...the print is way too small, too light & the information Is rather sparse.

Replaced prior model

So our GE Profile Microwave of 18 years went, we were excited that a replacement of the same model actually cost us less than the one we had. We were disappointed when we went to put it up that they had changed the mounting hardware so it took a bit longer to put up. This model shows fingerprints more than the last one (go figure, they are both black). I don't like the fact that when I cover the food with paper towel or dry waxed paper that it typically "blows" off because of the carousel (my last model did not have this feature and it heated up the food find). As a result of the food not staying covered I am cleaning the inside more. My last comment is that it does not appear to be as sturdy as our last model; I expect the buttons and/or the door will be the first to go. Anticipate that I will be replacing this in less than 7 years.

We have been using it for 2 months with no issues. Plate mode is great for cooking. Just set and start.

Great but didn't work out of the box

I bought this model because of it features and size. I needed high CFM to install over a grill. I had to spend lot of time and planning t get it mounted into a brick opening. Then it didn't work right and I had to get a technician over to replace the control panel. All kinds of rework and now it isn't mounting as good as i had it so I have to crawl back in behind it again at some point. Very upsetting. Works good now tho, but I can't seem to get it to look new after cleaning it. Looks all streaky or fine scatches.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
