Bought this over a year ago , and I'm still pleased with my choice.
I had purchased an other brand and less expensive one, I was so unhappy with the quality and returned it for this GE model.

Better than my 13 year old advantium that I replac

This one replaced my old advantium which died at age 13. This microwave is definitely superior to the older one, and it was much less expensive than the advantium,which I wouldn't buy again.

No manual

I am disappointed to buy a premium microwave with many new and unfamiliar features and find it does not come with detailed operating instructions. Had to spend a half hour on hold to request that a manual be mailed. Also had the opportunity to print one at my expense. At least I was able to verify that it could pop popcorn.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
