Outstanding over-oven microwave/vent

It was installed a few months ago, and has been mostly superb. Occasionally, when I press "1" for one minute heating, the timer starts, but the microwave does not. Maybe I am pressing 1 too quickly after closing the door.

Works as expected. good features. Only real drawback at this poit is the dimness of the clock during daylight. Kid of like when you turn on your car headlights during the day and the car's clock dims. Almost impossible to read during the day.

It's a Microwave!

We like our microwave, but don't love it. It is bigger than our other one and works just fine. I do like the 30 second increment, that feature is used a lot. I miss my pizza pan and cooking leftover pizza in the oven to get a crisp crust. I also like the 1 minute one push, but don't like the way you have to punch numbers in to do under 30 seconds or over 30 seconds and under a minute. But that's just me.

I find that both white potatoes and sweet potatoes do not cook properly in the time it's supposed to cook. The same hold true for oatmeal, as well as some other foods.

I wasn't a person to use a microwave for much more than heating things up or "cooking" frozen microwave meals. Now I am doing a lot more with this microwave - I am actually cooking in it.
I really the the 4 fan speeds and the 2 light settings - I can adjust each to my needs at the time.
