I purchased this for my son, who has a severe brain disability and he has opened up new worlds with this player. He plays videos, can locate YourTube Videos and can use those to get his meaning across. If this were able to connect to a keyboard and mouse, would be the perfect device for our weekend. Thanks Sony making a wonderful device with the bells and whistles that made a difference for us!

Didn't have the money for a smart TV. A friend gave me this blu-ray player for my 50th birthday and I am so happy with it. My 14-year-old daughter loves to watch Youtube videos as well as E-tv (a webcam channel with webcams set up all over the world). Love the fact the USB port is on the FRONT! (FINALLY!) The picture is astonishing. The ease of use and set up were great. Had a bit of trouble at the beginning, but the support team really hung in there and helped until everything was just right. I highly recommend this model.

I really like all the features of this player. It is compact and doesn't take up a lot of room. It was also super easy to set up. Plays DVDs without a lot of wait and load time. Also has the online apps. I have already used it for connecting to Netflix and Amazon video. Loads quickly and really easy to set up. I am really happy with this purchase.

Seemed like a good player with many features. Set the player up and it immediately performed a software update. The update failed and the player would not do anything. None of the buttons on the remote worked. The tv screen remained blank. I had to unplug the player from the electrical outlet and when I plugged it back in, it briefly showed a Sony screen and then flashed half of a blue screen and then went blank. Boxed the player and will return for a refund. Would not recommend this player.
