I have been very happy with this player. It load fast. Great quality. The super Wi-Fi is super! I highly recommend this player. Always happy with Sony.
Easy to set up, lots of built in apps (most useless or ones you never heard of). Big exception--no HBO-Go and no way to get it. Does have MLB, Hulu, Amazon, Pandora, Netflix
Two annoying traits--it wants you to confirm wi-fi everytime you turn it on, and even when connected, it is slow to load apps or programs on Netflix, Amazon, etc
My Blu-Ray life was reborn, along with BD-live! Had a Brand X Blu-ray and it pretty much crapped out. My new sony plays Blu-rays and all the internet apps I need, clearly and smoothly. Plays apps much better than my "Smart TV"
After 2 weeks On & Off control does not work. There isn't any Audio plug outlet to plug a wireless headset red & white plugs into! Major problems with entering a password to register the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
