Sound skips, like a bad record. Sound skips on movies from the net, blue ray DVD's reg Dvd's. TV is less than a year old, And none of our other players have this problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to set up and works great. Hook up to Interest went very smoothly. Like the software update option. DVD tray opens and closes very quickly Lots of streaming options.

This player was purchased for the main TV system in our home. The unit takes the place of an older PS3 system (>6yrs). It also has the capacity to stream PS3 games, and comes with some multipurpose apps, and uses a PS4 controller as well. The unit does not have 3D capabilities, but was chosen over the 3D unit due to the PS3 aspect of the system, Thks

My origional combo unit would not play current DVD'S, so wanted a stand alone. Got another product and it died in a day. Went back and got my Sony, like I should have in the first place. Cable, TV and DVD all connect to one HDMI switch unit. It is so simple, even I could hook it up. Love the product and like I said, should have purchased this one first.
