Plays blue ray and DVDs well. Remote is easy to lose but works well. It's a good Netflix and Hulu player as well. It would be great if there were more apps. Hoping for HBO Now.

I have really only used this to stream Amazon video, YouTube, and play video files from a USB hard drive. It works very well for all of these and the picture is excellent in all cases.

Good Player for a low price

We love the Sony Blu-ray player with streaming. We've had no problems with the Blu-ray part of it. Sometimes when streaming we freeze up and cannot connect. We then have to unplug and restart. Other than that, no problems. :)

This economical Blu-ray player is a great addition to my system. I had been holding out on a new disc player until my old player finally bit the dust. I should have replaced disc player when I bought my new TV. I had never had a Blu-ray before, but wow what a difference. This player even up scales regular DVD disc's to near Blu-ray quality
