Everything works great the power cord AC Jack is very weak it breaks easily

Intermittently at random times or in the middle of a video it will randomly restart to the main menu. I never know when it will happen but it always seems to happen when I'm really getting into whatever it is that I'm watching. Then I get a screen that's blue with the words something like,"content to large for display" or something like that and it takes me back to the starting menu again to choose an app or function. All the way back to square one again. And this happens randomly but often. Too often

Perform a Factory Reset This is the most common and effective solution for this specific issue. Please follow the next steps: On your remote, press the HOME button. Then, navigate to Setup and select Resetting. Choose Reset to Factory Default Settings and select All Settings. 2. Update the Firmware Outdated firmware can lead to a variety of playback issues and system instability. To update the firmware: To update it you need to press the HOME button on your remote, navigate to Setup, and select Software Update, after that choose to update via the internet. (If your player is not connected to the internet, you can download the firmware from the Sony support website in the following link: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/home-video-blu-ray-disc-players-recorders/bdp-s5500/downloads/00015973 onto a USB drive and update it that way.)
