I gave it 3 star rating because I wish it had input/output for HDMI. I have to use my tv remote control to change the input.

Hello Carmelita, thank you for your message. SONY takes into consideration all good or bad feedback to improve the quality of our products. Thank you so much for your feedback.
Has issues when you try to use Netflix.Seems to frequently loose its network password settings. Have to re-enter security codes etc. Other blue-ray wifi players in the house DO NOT do this. This is annoying enough that I wish I had bought another Panasonic.

Hi RRRR, We appreciate bringing this to our attention and we are more than happy to take a look on this matter. Thanks.
I borrow movies from our local library and new releases are easier to get on Blu-ray than regular DVD so I purchased this player. I chose Sony because all of my other video products are Sony and I like to keep everything compatible. I was surprised and pleased to find that I can access the internet with the player and plug a USB flash drive into the front and view programs from my laptop such as all my pictures on my TV. I haven’t explored all of the functions, but so far I am very pleased. Another plus is that the remote is similar to the one for my older Sony DVD player so I didn’t have to teach my wife how to use it. I do wish that the on/off switch and the open/load switch were better defined rather than being black on black, but everything is that way now including the controls in my 2014 automobile.

Hi HappyUser, It's good to know that Sony always meet your expectations. I'm pretty sure that you'll definitely love this blu-ray disc player. Thanks for this feedback. Enjoy watching.
The Bluray DVD is good in many ways. The only disadvantage I find is that it doesn't support 240V . Please try to provide DVDs with 110-240volt support.

Great little device. Plays Bluerays fine, mostly I've used it for Netflix. Streaming ha been great. Easy set up, no lag. Haven't used 3d so can't comment.
