poor performance

started having problems after 2nd year, warranty does not cover any repair or diagnosis. Poor performance overall. Water Dispenser, Ice Maker does NOT work consistently !!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The LED lights are a great addition

This is a great refrigerator, I only had one issue, the water dispenser doesn't work if you set the refrigerator temperature below 36 Deg? I thought we had a bad unit as it worked when at the time of installation, but didn't work the next day. I fixed this on my own by using a hair dryer on the outlet water tube and changing the refrigerator temp to 37 Deg, not as cold as I would like but the water continues to flow. Overall this is a great unit!

Excellent Counter Depth Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After searching and spending frankly way too much time looking at a refrigerator I decided to go with the GE Profile. I am very please with the layout. Spacious and practical. I needed (well, wanted anyway) a counterdepth model as this what fits best in my kitchen. The freezer is bigger than it looks. I like the handy ice/water in the door. GE has the best filter based on what i have read. Water and food taste like they should. I had one problem (which was my fault), as I had the temp set too low and the water line froze. I called GE service and this very nice man called me back quickly and told me exactly what the problem was and how to fix it! Frankly I was blown away by the excellent service. I really reccommend this to anyone looking for a counter depth...it will cost a bit more but it is worth it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great looking, but doesn't perform well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The look and features are great BUT we're on our second repair in less than 5 months and it keeps freezing items in the refrigerator section with a setting of 42 degrees. We've lost a lot of food.

If you don't have the space

I have an awkward area where the refrigerator has to be and using the French doors, everything is right in front of me, no space is wasted. If I was to have a complaint. the area devoted to milk/juice height containers, is a bit small if you have a larger family.

This product froze my food

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had several repairmen in the first year as this refrigerator froze my food in he fridge section, and then did not always keep the freezer food at the right temperature. I also did not like the way the top doors did not close easily as I have kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product,however,it does sweat and I must clean the door gasket weekly or it will grow mold and drip condensation when door is opened. This has been a very hot and humid summer in Michigan-I am hopeful this problem will end when fall arrives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never had such a neat smart fridge like this before. It's smart by knowing the amount to fill your cup just by setting it down on the try. My kids love to show this off to their friends :) I would recommend this for all big families who need space. The freezer has lots of spaces and storage.
