Soooooo very disappointed

I bought a suite of GE profile kitchen appliances in 2013. It's 7 years later and over the course of those 7 years:. Refrig - computer board died, gaskets didn't hold up, food freezing in refrigerator, etc. Stove - had to buy a new one, computer issues. Latest is the dishwasher solenoid cracked and hot water spewed throughout our house for hours. GE has cost me thousands of dollars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst Refrigerator Ever!

We bought this about 8 years ago and have had nothing but problems with it. GE service has been out three different times over the years. We had to replace the motherboard about 2 years ago and now, the refrigerator is not working, nor the ice maker, but the freezer is working. We will likely need to replace this. I will never buy a GE product again.

Great Product for the Price

We purchased this refrigerator to match our GE Profile oven/microwave we purchased a few years ago. We also purchased the glass cook top PP975BMBB. Very attractive and all work great. This is a counter depth refrigerator which is perfect standing alone or for a built in enclosure. The inside lighting is so nice...... I just love opening the doors and looking inside. The water and ice maker are both on the outside this is a great feature. I would not recommend purchasing this size refrigerator for large families. Very nice for one child and or couple.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is awful please do not waste your money on buying. GE is well known so I though it would last for at least 15 years. No good.

3 time messing up

The Compressor went out the first time then the second time it was a circuit board now this time I’m not for sure what’s wrong with it no lights come on the fridge raider and freezer works but that icemaker down and no lights in my fridge

Came back from a trip and front panel was blinking and lights went off in both the refrigerator and freezer. Can't believe it's broken after 4 years. Kudos on GE engineers for making such a inferior product.

Troubles, we have had a few.

We’ve had nothing but issues with this unit. From the beginning, the temperature inside the fridge could not be regulated properly. There is no spot in the fridge that does not freeze my produce. So the delicates, like lettuce can’t be kept in the fridge. It’s so frustrating. I’ve had frozen eggs, frozen coffee cream in the mornings and frozen ketchup. While under warranty, we had 2 different people to look at the problem. Now, every once in a while, we see water on the floor which we’re assuming is from the water dispenser. And now, the gasket on the right had door is torn and needs replaced. I have to now find someone to fix this gasket. Another $300 or more for this!! This unit is so disappointing. It looks good but functionally, is a pain in the butt and the wallet! My old Fridge that we replaced for this one, didn’t look pretty (old fashioned almond) but worked like a charm. It’s a shame that manufacturers build disposable appliances now.

The fridge is really great - you can see all your food at one time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge is great, because with the French doors you can open both and see all the food at one time. Freezer is also great, holds a lot. Only downside, is that space in the fridge is not great compared to a side by side - hard to get large items in to fit - for parties, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!
