Love my phone.

Having never had a smart phone.. My choice was between the Samsung SII or LG Optimus G2x. The price was lower, the sound quality not as good, pictures and movie capable 8mp Best out there, Very few of the apps that I use cause my phone to stop, But I have only found 1 to date. Husband and I both have same phone. Depending on the apps running and amount of talking we charge on the average of once a day. This is very easy and user friendly. Very happy we made this choice. :)
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had my phone since it 1st came out about ?09 -10? and I haven't had the troubles other reviewers are having. I've dropped it more than a handful of times and I've only had the screen blackout twice & the second time was a few days ago when I was in Europe. Also I have to agree that my phone was doing weird things in Europe but I think that was because the whole continent is weird. Although call clarity & lack of dropped calls was excellent. I had a 1st ed of tmobile mytouch & loved it. I only switched to this phone because of the dual processors, 4G which promised fast browsing.I find it interesting that this phone is advertised as a good multitasker. When I have several apps going, the browser slows significantly. The video camera isn't good but the still photos come out well. I've always been a gadget freak & get the 1st new thing out, however I'm not tech savy but I do wait now before buying . I wasn't a where that there are no os updates or lack of support. This phone is good for browsing, downloading apps & music, making calls but I'm sure most people bought it for more then just a pocket pc. I wouldn't recommend this phone because there are new, better phones that do more & are a lot cheaper.

This is my first smartphone and I was afraid I would not be able to use it well because I am not Tech Savy. I was surprised at how easy it really was to get used to the functions. I really do more than I ever thought I would do on a phone. I Like It.
I would recommend this to a friend!

terrible support. Randomly reboots almost daily. screen goes blank while typing. manually need to remove the battery to reboot completely when frozen on a daily basis . Takes several MINUTES to restart. extremely poor indication of battery status. camera is brutal. Using the phone via Wind mobile just makes things even more difficult. Worst combination imaginable. Not worth the "savings".
Pros: Performance, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
