Range hood did not fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this beautiful range hood to match my other large appliances from KItchenAid.
It does not fit I would have to get my cupboards removed because the range hood sits to low.
I called the store for an exchange or a store credit and they said NO.
So now it sits in the packaging that it came in which is a shame as I like the range hood.
I'll try to sell it or else give it away to someone who can use it.
I will never buy from a store that does not exchange or give a store credit especially when its in the original packaging, its not fair.

Poor construction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had two of these installed - and both of them had issues. The first one was damaged and the second one - the motor doesnt run, and when it runs has a high whining sound, and doesnt seem powerful. The switch was damaged as well
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Non-standard electric wiring location

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this hood fan to replace my builder's grade fan at my new house. My existing hood fan, like most of them on the market, have electric wiring on the right. However, the electric wiring of Kitchenaid hood fan is on the left. To install this Kitchenaid, I would have to hire an electrician to rewire the wiring on the wall. It is an unplesant surprise.
