Great all-in-one but stand weight issue

This is my second TouchSmart purchase in the last 3 months. Great screen and configurations. However, this time my 610 Quad had all the extras and seems to be too heavy for the stand so it always rests in the down position.
HP is replacing but think about this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A really great pc...but?

I don't play many computer games but I do like to play the Sims3. Since my laptop wasn't handling the graphics well, I upgraded this pc to 12GB of RAM and a 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 425M card. Even after all that, I notice the game will often get stuck to the point of annoyance. Weird since even my 4GB Dell laptop didn't do that as often as it seems to be happening now. Maybe I didn't get the right video card? Other than that, this is a very cool design and works well for other applications that I've tried. I Must admit I haven't had it that long so I haven't tried too many features such as the TV tuner so I can't report on that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am enjoying the ease of use with this computer. Most of all the easy set up. I have only had it for several weeks but so far it is all that I expected and a little more. I left Dell after 15 yrs because of the aggravation with set up and the amount of time spent on the phone trying to resolve problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was the easiest set up of any computer I have owned. No mysteries, no surprises. Plugged it in, connected to our satellite modem and router, and the setup practicaly completed itself on its own. I switched to HP products several years ago and each purchase has validated my decision. There was no learning curve with this computer. It is fast, efficient, and a high performer.As a business owner totally dependent on computer performance, function, and complex software programs, this computer will continue to excellently serve my needs. It didn't recognize my HP wireless printer but once I installed the printer driver CD, it connected immediately. I am also thrilled to have a streamlined computer without a cumbersome space-taking tower. Definitely recommend also purchasing the service pak.

Good computer, bad software

I like the multimedia functionality, speed, touch screen function and the Magic Canvas(when it's working). Purchased it about 2 weeks ago and initially had multiple problems with the Magic Canvas software freezing up when launching a program from the carousel. After multiple calls into the Tech Center and several hours of wasted time, we were able to apply a software update to the Touchsmart that seemed to take care of most of the problems, however it still freezes up from time to time and requires a reboot. These software updates should have been applied at the factory before shipping out the product. I like the computer when it's working appropriately, but very frustrating when trying to debug incompatible or poorly designed software like Magic Canvas.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Computer

Pros: Large, flat screen that tilts down enough that I can see all of the screen in the bottom of my bi-focals without having to tilt my head back. Touch screen is easy to use (perhaps too easy, see the cons) and so interactive that I find myself trying to use a touchscreen on my laptop. Speed is wonderful, downloads are faster and connection speed is much improved over my old XP machine.
Cons: This computer seems to have a mind of it's own and sometimes undoes some of the features I have selected, such as the screen saver. The touch screen is so sensitive that when the salmon flies get in the house and flutter on the screen, I may find fifty copies of a file or most of the available programs open and running. I leave the computer on 24/7 to log my weather data, so turning it off at night is not an option. Even though I have "Blank" as the screen saver I will find the computer screen active and alive and attracting bugs.
Overall I really like the new computer but I would like to see the touchsceen go inactive when on screensaver, and/or a cover included with the computer to prevent this from happening as it is most annoying.
I would recommend this computer to any friend, but would tell them in advance what to expect.
