Makes scrolling webpages a breeze. Response to touch better then I excepted. The performance is great and plays blu-rays beautifully. Not a whole lot of junk preinstalled. Very happy with the choice, and price was excellent. My last three purchases have been HP's and you have not failed to impress.

Love the new computer. The touch screen and fun and easy to use, very precise. Large screen with great graphics. The processor is fast and much quicker than my old HP. Click on webpage and programs and they open within a second. Very quick burner and ability to watch and burn Blu-ray. What's not to like about this computer. I would definitely purchase another. Thinking that it might be fun to get one to mount in the kitchen or on the wall for TV/internet access. The wireless internet, keyboard and mouse along with single unit make is very space conscious.

I really like my TouchSmart. It was easy to set up and it is running fine for us. I think the quality is excellent and it is extremely functional. I have been a Dell person in the past but I was taken by the touch feature on the 610 Quad so I tried it and loved how it works. Consumer reports was also instrumental in my decision and rated the 610 tops for all in one computers...they were right on!

Best all-in-one perfomance in the market

The only Quad-CPU of the market in all-in-one! I needed a new PC for my digital photography (I use LR3 and Photoshop Elements 9) and with the 10GB of RAM it does a great job. I used a USB to DVI from Display link to connect another 23 inch display. I would recomend some upgrades for future versions. First USB3 instead of USB2 as we need to have a faster way to back-up the disk and or an option for RAID inside. A second monitor out. I don't use the Touchsmart feature as my requirement was space.

This Touch Smart System is without a doubt one of the best that I have ever purchased. Many recent purchases have been the Dell Computer systems, however the HP out performs all. If you are looking to buy a home computer I recommend the 610 quad.

Needed to update

Our previous computer was approaching 10 years of age. It was time to upgrade, so we decided to get a computer hosting the latest and greatest technology. The 610 seemed to have many of the bells and whistles and more that we wanted.
Initially we had significant issues with the computer and connecting to the internet. Many websites would not completely load. After two weeks of phone work and research, it was finally determined that the modem was at fault. A new modem from our ISP seems to have solved this problem.
I must admit that I am a little overhelmed by the capabilites of this computer! It will probably take me at least another 10 years to explore and use many of the features incorporated in it's design. With our limited use, (only a couple of weeks now) we have uncovered a few quirks. One is, upon waking, the computer screen reverts to some magnified zoom version, and the only way to get back to a normal view is to restart. The other deals with the touchsmart screen. When in touchsmart mode the screen often locks up for some unexplained reason and becomes unusable. Again, the only way to regain control is to restart. Even with these quirks, I remain favorably optimistic about this new computer and only hope that it provides us with another 10 years of service.

As a previous user of Dell and Sony Vaio desktop and laptop computers, I was initially leaning towards a Sony for an All-in-One. However, after researching several brands, finally settled on the 610 Quad. It came with the right features to make it worthwhile, and had better specs and lower cost than most comparable competitors. I use a Sony Vaio laptop with Intel Core I7 processer and solid state hard drive for work and wanted a Core I7 processer for my home machine. Most competitor All in Ones use I5 or lower powered laptop versions of the I7, which can be considerable slower processers. Comparing benchmark measurements indicated that this would be a fast machine, and so far it's meeting all expectations.
Only downside - no high-end graphics cards available, but not an issue for my uses. Probably not a good option for high-speed gamers though.
Setup was a breeze. Bluetooth keyboard and mouse worked right out of the box and are very responsive. Really like the quiet, low-profile keyboard. Also love the screen, and my concerns about possible screen glare have not been an issue.
