Good Product -- Poor Policy

I just unpacked and installed an Epson XP-520 on my MAC PRO running Yosemite. Very easy to install and the printer works fine. Additionally, I was pleased to receive a code for a 10% discount at the Epson Store for registering the purchase. I was NOT PLEASED that, after ordering a new set of ink cartridges at the Epson Store (list price $100!!!), the 10% discount DID NOT WORK. So I went back to the discount notice and found that, at the bottom of the page, in 9 point type, "Consumer Inks" were disallowed. Bummed. 5 stars for the product, 1 star for consumer-friendly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

can not get my printer to setup

was able to set up and print and initially, but started having problems connecting and have had nothing but trouble since. would not recommend this to anyone

Easy set up

Just bought my printer today and the set up to my wireless laptop went smoothly. The basic instructions provided need to display or explain where the printer out put document tray is located....directly above the paper input tray on the front of the printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Said to enter DD//MM//YR and it was actually M/D/Y.

SET-UP

Scanner wouldn't work with USB cable so I'm trying wireless. Seems to be a common problem. My XP300 work great for years but quit scanning to my computer. Instructions said to open the tray where the test print page would come out. The instructions didn't show the output tray/slot.
