After owning several printer models of another brand, we became dissatisfied with their performance and lack of help in resolving issue and poor performance. We then researched a number of different printers and decided to try the Epson brand. We found it is much more difficult to navigate the features, at least on our model, and difficult to read the instructions on the tiny screen. We have no problem with the print quality altho pictures do not print out in "true" colors when compared with commercial copies. We like the ability to print out two sided documents. The ink cartridges don't seem to last as long. It's also a nuisance to have to deal with the output tray every time the paper size changes. For these reasons we will probably opt for another brand on our next purchase. This was a replacement for the first one as it was still in warranty after it malfunctioned.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First Epson printer I have owned and will never buy another one- computer has NOT worked more than it has - too hard to set up and also too hard to find the answers why it won't work - I hate this printer!!!!

I have other Epson printers and work very well, wanted a new printer to do photo. Haven't used it yet for pictures but did check out printer, nice. I hook up wifi, it didn't say to in book, but same time you set up wi fi on computer, also go to printer and do the same.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Came with pamphlet as a quick guide. Use to the book that comes with it. Get up with the times....download the Guide and it will be on your computer to access. Less paper.

I love this one better then the fist one they came out with it loads much easier and it is easy to use like the front load instead of the back load print great as well cant wait to really use it to see how it holds up to our printing for school at ctc thanks Epson it was just a little more pricey then other ones but its ok still love it

Soooooo, I purchased this printer along with the purchase of a Chromebook mainly for my kids for school and partially for my business. However, I have only been able to copy as I have no way to download drivers compatible with ChromeOS. I would LOVE some info on how to make these two machines come together in synergy. HELP!
