Best blender ever

I got this as a gift in the year, 2009 and it turned out to be the best blender I've ever used. It makes the best smoothes for breakfast. Its easy to clean, powerful. The only con about this blender is that I have the smaller version of the container Jar. I just found out that they came out with a larger jar. I definitely will be buying the larger jar its wider and it holds more. Its better then the Vita mix blender.

gasket shredding

has been a great jar until it wasn't. You've seen videos on youtube of Blendtec blending Ipad, iPhone, etc.? well, don't do couple of frozen banana halves! The gasket loses that battle. Gasket particles in your drink!! I filled out the contact form on blendtec's web page, no reply.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great blender when pitchers are not broken. Had 2 pitchers replaced in less than a year. They are replaced warranty but still a hassle. May have bite the bullet and go back to vitamix

So obsessed with this blender. My old WildSide+ jar broke after about 4 years of heavy use. I tried using a Ninja for 6 months before I caved and bought a replacement BlendTech jar. I'd forgotten how SMOOTH things could be! My favorite thing about it is how well it blends chunky blackberry seeds and spinach/kale in my smoothies. It's dang expensive, but SO WORTH IT.

Poor quality on jar gasket

Same issue here.
Rubber part shredded eventually leaking from jar while blending.
Wish this problem would be fixed.
Jars are expensive and so now I have to get a replacement.
Or how much we spend on this machine there should be no issues like this but I love the blender

Will break as soon as warranty is done

I really wish I’d bought a Vitamix at this point. Our first Wildside jar broke while still under warranty and they replaced it. What happens is that the plastic bit holding the metal blade in place starts to deteriorate and gets into the food as well as all over the blender base. We were told we had to turn the blade manually to keep it from breaking. We did that for the second one and it broke about three months out of warranty. Piece of junk! It works great until it doesn’t. It costs way too much to replace every two years!!
