Will It Blend? Fruit Smoothie Edition

My Wildside+ Jar couldn’t handle frozen fruit tonight. I wish I would have gotten a picture of the mess it made. All over the walls, floor, and everything in my pantry where we use the blender. Pretty upset considering how expensive this blender was. Rendered useless unless I purchase another Wildside+ Jar for $140.

After many years of making morning smoothies with the original jar that came with my Blender I got a new Wildside Jar. Very impressive upgrade for my morning smoothie ritual! Top quality, beefed up blade, solid gasket at the bottom. The 5th sidewall really cranks up the blending efficiency! Nice improvement, easy to rinse off and definitely worth the money.

Excellent blending, improved jar performance

After 5100 uses our 10 year old jar bearings went and we needed a replacement. I decided to buy this wildside jar and am super happy with it. We make smoothies almost every day and the added side does make a big difference, blends faster and smoother, our smoothies typically consist of frozen bananas milk and add ins. Amazing how quickly this blends a solid frozen banana. The old jar did the job, but this new one gets it done alot faster. The lid design is much improved from the old one as well, I like that is had some holding power. And I'm not sure why there are reviews saying the lids aren't rubber, mine is made of the same rubber material as my old lid. Thank you blendtec! Yall make fantastic products and this new wild side jar is just icing on the cake.
I have had my Blendtec for 10 years now and finally had to buy a new jar to use for liquid ingredients. After grinding something like 2,000 pounds of biscuits (for animal feed) and countless smoothies and cream soups, I can't imagine life without it! My only nit with the newest jar are the vertical lines on the lower part of the sides; they make scraping out more difficult. But I still give it 5 stars because it's really and truly the best!
I would recommend this to a friend!

7 yrs using same jar

I have been using my jar twice a day at least 5 days out of the week and it finally gave out. I can say I got good use out of it. Time for a new shiny one !!!

Blendtec honors their warranty

I abuse my blender daily with frozen fruits, and the jar failed after having it for about 7 months. I got a new one in 3 days w/ no hassle after emailing customer service about it. Realistically, no blender jar's blade assembly is going to last years with daily use (I bought the blender expecting to need warranty replacements for the jar, since there's no chance it's going to last 7 years with daily use), so as long as blendtec keeps sending me new jars when they wear out for the duration of the warranty, I'm satisfied.
The jar sounds different when it's starting to wear out, so when this happens get in touch w/ customer service so you can get a new one shipped out to you before the old one completely breaks.

Luv my Blender, disappointed in the leaking gasket

Ive not quite has this a year and the black gasket to my wildside jar started shredding - we'd see little black shreds on the base when we removed the jar- now the gasket leaks any liquid we put in. Im really disappointed and hope I can have the jar replaced since we dont use it daily but its a great product and the jars are awfully expensive if the gasket is going to shred and wiggle the blade and leak. I thought my kids did it so blamed them, but in the Q&A section here, I see its not an isolated situation. I hope we can get this resolved so I can go back to loving my blender!
