The obvious difference is the recipe on the jar and placement of the handle, but the volume it they hold are the same and the interior structure seems to be the same, so what is the difference?

Jar leaks!

Pretty sad to pay so much money for a blender only to have the jar leak at gasket area so you can’t use it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
